If this could be done change smaller Co-ops from profit under the IRS rules to non profit; Since every one earns the same amount of pay in a coop business wonder if it could be changed into a nonprofit company or given a lower corporate tax rate to Coops Companies. Stop me if I’m wrong every one that works even in a co-op pays taxes not the corporate ones the wall marts or Oil companies do but they pay the payroll taxes right; And pot could be the perfect CoOP creating jobs and tax revenue In two different ways the sin tax we pay to smoke and have a Budweiser and the payroll tax. 2 States have already legalize pot that’s an Industry just waiting to happen and has a massive potential for export too and creating more revenue to save SSI and medicare too.
And if you haven’t looked lately there are still 25 million people fighting for there lives that are either unemployed to underemployed; And more of them are falling into poverty
This won’t solve it completely but it would slow it down at least a little. By allowing a new coops and it will create at least a few FDA jobs and labs to test it. they’ll need either people picking it or machine that will dryers to dry it; Even if It were just interstate they would need either Bobtails or 18 wheelers to transport it from place to place like food and other goods. That is if they don’t get a market in Europe or any other here on Earth that requires either planes or ships to transport it; And with 8 billion people that could be a very huge market rich in tax money and profit for the owners of the coops that grow the pot and process it
